The Birth of a Novel and a Related Ship! While Christine's novel is currently being crafted to depict Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo's 1542 voyage of discovery up the Mexico and California coast, so too is a magnificent replica of his ship San Salvador.  The Maritime Museum of San Diego began constructing this galleon in the spring of 2011, and residents and visitors are now watching her come to life at Spanish Landing.  The novel ABOARD CABRILLO'S GALLEON will be released prior to the anticipated launching of the San Salvador.       -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on the San Salvador, please click on her image to the left.
